Spiritual Accompaniment
Though often called spiritual direction, I prefer to think of our walk together as spiritual accompaniment.
Spiritual accompaniment invites conscious awareness and attention to the holy and the profane. The only “directing” is the mutual and continual re-direction of our attention to holy movement, whether you name that Spirit, God, Sacred, Mystery, Unknowable, Unnameable, Love, Universe, Holy One, etc….
In one-to-one spiritual accompaniment, we enter together into holy listening, tending to the whispers, cries, and wonderings of the sacred in your life.
Whether you identify as agnostic, spiritually curious, or deeply committed to a religious tradition, we will honor and tend our time together with reverence and respect for the truths that we discover.
I am honored and humbled by the trust and courage of the spiritual seekers who invite me to walk alongside them.
Group Retreats and
Seasonal Circles
Throughout the year, the earth and all of her creatures follow rhythms of rest and renewal. Each season brings its own invitation to participate in the flow of all that is.
The blessings and trappings of modern life (electric lights, grocery stores, heat and ac, etc…) have made it harder for humans to notice and respond to the call of the seasons.
Fortunately, we need only to pause and pay attention to the movement of the plants and critters that surround us to bring our bodies and hearts back into alignment and relationship with the living, breathing planet.
During In-person Retreats and Seasonal Circles on Zoom, we gather with others to explore the rhythms of the season, our bodies, and our hearts. Together we consider the attention, intentions, and practices that can bring us into harmony within ourselves and with the world around us.
